All those nearest to me knew that winter was my favorite month for like ever. The cold weather, the fashion the warm creative moments and outings with friends i think i was like the only kid that loved winter and did not care for summer …But somewhere in between high school and college, summer stole my heart.

I don’t know how, why or even exactly when, but the season’s appeal took me (if thats even possible). lol. I hated summer wardrobe options because I felt there was less room for creativity where as in the winter, layers, boots, coats, scarfs and jackets- you could never have too many. The heat was too much, annoying at times making me feel yuck. Oh and do NOT like watermelon, everyone knows summer is watermelon season, it would be the appetizer at every occasion lol.

But summer has a much greater meaning now, greater than fashion, food and unbearable weather. Another level of relaxation, creativity and appreciation of life arises every time the summer rolls around. So unfortunately, I am becoming saddened that the season is nearing its time of departure. Although things didn’t go as planned and I did not accomplish all goals set, summer has been tasteful still.

So I will try to enjoy the most of these few weeks left and find beauty and anticipate the season to come.
